1. French Heels – women’s shoes with a curved, medium-high heel. Also known as Curved Heels, Pompadour Heels or Louis Heels.
2. Huaraches / Huarache Sandals - handmade Mexican sandals with woven leather tops. Huaraches crafted with soles made from recycled tires.
3. Kitten Heels - a thin-based, low heel (1.5 inches or less) that is set in from the back of the shoe.
4. Mary Janes – has a short, rounded toe box, and very flat heel. A girl’s or woman’s shoe that is styled after shoes children used to wear.
5. Mules – a backless shoe. Consist of high heels, low heels, or chunky heels, but if the back is open, they are considered mules.
6. Platform Shoes – have thick soles sitting under the front part of the foot. Comes in a variety of different heel types, including wedge heels, stiletto heels, and chunky heels.
7. Slides/Slide Sandals - Easy to slip on and off, slides or slide sandals are shoes with open toes and backs. Can be flat, or have any type of heel.
8. Sling-Backs – has a strap that connects from the sides or the vamp of the shoe, and wraps around the back part of the foot.
9. Stacked Heels – comes in brown or beige color. Designed to give the illusion of thin layers of wood that have been stacked up to create a flat, wedge or high heel.
10. Stiletto- type of shoe heel that is pointy, thin and high. Also known as spike.
11. Water Shoes – protect your feet from rocks and shells, and are constructed with a quick-drying mesh upper. Made of high-tech rubber and fabric sandals.
12. Wedges – wedge heel runs under the foot, from the back of the shoe to the middle or front either low or high heel.

Glossary of Different Shoe Styles
1. Oxford Shoes – this is a simple shoes with laces. Usually describe as men’s dress shoes. Sneakers and women high heeled pump sometimes considered oxford as long they have laces.
2. Spectator Shoes – are shoes with two or more distinct materials or colors, pinked edging and perforated details usually black and white combination with perforated accents that had been edged by cut with pinking shears.
3. Wingtip Shoes – shoes with a toe cap point at the center. Spreads out toward the sides of the shoes, in a shape that somewhat resembles wings.
4. Ombre Shoes – simply known as “shaded shoes”. Colors are from light to dark, or appear to gradually fade from one color to another.
5. Peep Toes – it has an opening at the end that shows part of the toes, but not the whole toe line, as other open-toed shoes do.
6. Ankle Strap Shoes – it has a single strap or multiple straps that wraps around the ankle.
7. Ballerina Flats – having a flat heel, closed toe, and a slipper-style construction. Typically low-cut, meaning they show a lot of the top of the foot.
8. Clogs - shoes with open backs and closed toes sometimes referred as mules.
9. d’Orsay Pump – the vamp of the shoe is cut away very close to the toe box, and the sides are cut away, revealing the arch of the foot.
10. Espadrilles – with Spanish sense, consist of a woven upper, and a flexible sole typically woven from rope or grass.
