My Louis Vuitton Obsession!

I know this site was ONLY intended for designer shoes but due to my LV obsession, I can’t control my urge for designer handbags.

Louis Vuitton

The Louis Vuitton designer, Marc Jacobs is truly a genius that flows against the tide of fashion when it comes to designer handbags. He knows how to develop something unique and different from other designers from old classic styles into fresh and outrageously chic.

With the handbags, he gave birth and presented the classic Noe and Alma bags in incredibly fabulous designs. The Monogram Double Jeu means “Double Game,” consist of a Neo Noe and a Neo Alma.

In my own understanding with this bag, I am assuming the name “double” signifies to the bag-to-bag relationship. After I saw the bag in pictures, my mind put crazy notions at rest. It consist of an inner bag that has chain handles and can be detachable.

The fabric of the interior bag has an Epi -like weave and it features a brass “Inventeur” plaque for an optional use of bag. It can be carried separately.
The actual Noé and Alma was located and considered as the outer bag. It has leather straps for easy carrying. They are expected to be released sometime in September this year. Read more »

Dior Homme Menswear for Spring 2010

Kris Van Assche being a fashion designer, gave his latest collection for Dior Homme a full blast of hot waves despite of a “Cold Love” theme. He knew the knives were out. The temperature in his runway hit the “surface of the sun” that he never anticipated the heat served to heighten the much appreciated high layers of ultralight tailoring.

Dior HommeTwo years ago from the start of his appointment, Dior Homme designer Kris Van Assche has wrestled exclusively for men and women’s suit. This season the superfluity of a tailored blazer can be seen on the label’s collection as a sensible sartorial response to climatic change.
The designer influenced by his gym-bodied quality that can be seen under the transparent jackets layered over untucked wide T- shirts in tones of creamy gray and skin-tone beige as billowy robes with matching hefty high-top footwear.

The shirt-weight craftsmanship is said to be the label’s new development, and the transparent parka over a sleeveless jacket captured from past season’s trends.

For evening outfits, the designer suggested kimonolike lapels in sleeveless form. In contrast to his previous Dior Homme endeavor, all the pared-down vigor gives him a strong foundation to build on for the future campaign.

Vogue for Men this Season

The spring and summer 2009 brings bright and chic fashion for men. New designs are created and silhouettes that seemed faded and gone forever are back! Fashion details are still popular and innovated with modern twist.

So, what will be the newest vogue for men this season?

Suits!

Any formal dinner or office appointments will be fabulous with the classic stylish suits paired with nice-looking shirts, ties and dressy shoes. The color combinations are extremely used ranging from dark strict tones to bright yet elegant-looking hues. There are also skinny pants that are very thin.

These classical stylish suits were presented in Givenchy, Gucci, Jil Sanders, Alexander McQueen’s 2009 collection.

Pants!

Spring and summer trends are also dominate by wide pants. They are obviously wide in nature that seems pretty unusual. The Bottega Veneta collections are of this type.

Wide pants which go with almost any style imaginable are one of the hottest trends this season. Wide pants are used to match classic jackets and modern clinging ones. They can be worn with casual shirts and trench coats and with turtlenecks as well – many choices are available.

Jackets!

The next latest trend to talk about is dinner jackets. There are lots of them in Dolce&Gabbana spring/summer collections. Satin shawl, satin notched or peaked lapels, or the satin stripe are the best elements in dinner jackets to focus your attention.

Vests!

Vests are in the fashion ensembles once again! It made a huge comeback after some few recent seasons of being forgotten by some designers. This stuff can go with a suit or without it as a separate piece. Satin, wool, jersey and other fabrics are best fitted with the vest. Fashion couturiers who favored these items are D&G, Moschino and others.

Ties!

Another piece that some past seasons are only worn with classic suits are the ties. This time, they are not confined to this kind of clothing. It is used in many other various styles also: with casual clothes, extravagant garments, etc.

Each man will define for himself how to wear it. a plethora of fashion designers used this small piece to add details like Gucci, Etro, Dolce&Gabbana, Phillip Lim 3.1 and the like.

I hope all men can find perfect trends for their spring-summer 2009 getaway. Be the first to change your summer fashion statement. Wish you luck man! Watch out for the latest vogue for Men in pictures too!!!
