She projects like Marilyn Monroe on the Ads. A blonde-bombshell glory, red lips and porcelain skin. She is truly a D&G lady.
Scarlett is not only the muse of director Woody Allen, but the duo designers of D&G says she is their muse as well.
“We see makeup as another thing for women, like a dress. We worked on the makeup line like we work on a clothing collection — you can change makeup like you can change your clothes, depending on your mood,” Stefano Gabbana told WWD.
The lipsticks will be scented with rose, Gabbana explained. “We wanted to create makeup with a scent. Domenico and I remember when we were children and opened our mother’s handbags — the scent of her lipstick trailed out. I observed that when women open makeup, they smell it first.”
Prices will range from $20 for nail lacquer to $59 for powder foundation.
Dolce & Gabbana’s new luxe make-up collection will launch this Spring.

Prada goes from one extreme designs to other, bypassing every marker for the latest trends.. Yes from business to beach! Apparently, this high-end designer shoes has towering prices that over a grand. The collection is more likely a “dollar store to a stripper club.”
Prada’s Spring/Summer 2010 Shoes collection was equally transparent that seems Prada was not able to make it work for me this year. Indeed, I am not a fan of clear PVC and Velcro attachments footwear. These shoes need to breath once in a while. They are pretty impractical and ugly but I may wear them to the pool if they were given to me.
The bling bling chandelier attachments make the shoes even worse and mess our outfit.
In fairness to the designer as one of fashion’s great intellectuals, her collection takes it to a whole new level and she doesn’t rest on her shoe designs.

Leave a Comment I absolutely adore the stellar collection of Freida Giannini for her Spring/Summer 2010 shoe collection. The collections from clothing down to every accessory was pure sex appeal.
The show was started with white leather sandals in towering sky high stiletto heels but as the show progressed, the shoes changed from grey to black. Obviously, bondage became the overall theme of the show.
The extraordinary Gucci shoes in high heels, large handbags and sunglasses that cover half the face of the models are all unique and reveals the true character. Clothing from this collection of the same color tone have a unique style even queen could distinguished its uniqueness.
These shoes certainly are not for the masses, this is for one type of woman not for everyone. I have still applaud the designer, Frida Giannini for creating this one of a kind collection.
Gucci is still a label that adored by most people, and this notably owns to the designer’s unique craftsmanship and marketing strategies resulting for a brand’s timeless culture and modern, sexy and beautiful designs.

Leave a Comment The house of Missoni showcased her beauty of Spring/Summer 2010 during the Milan Fashion Week. The collection range similar to the one for cold month collection.I don’t think this collection will be suited to the season as we all know summer time is too warm and we prefer light fabrics instead of cashmere and mohair. In fairness to its designs I can say they are new and interesting. I really liked its long clinging dresses, skirts and tops.
All the trends we have seen across the runways are again graces at the Missoni’s show. Draping, prints, pastels and embellishments are very common in the collection. We can find plenty of layers, beautiful and stylish loose-mesh cardigans and tank dresses.
Accessories are present but in limited number. There are long knitwear jewelries, whistles on silver chains, bracelets gripping each bicep, and low-heel sandals with woven souvenir ankle bracelets for straps completes the whole collection.

Prada also posses a constant work of invention focusing to fashion development by creating a new book documenting the brand’s diverse projects in fashion, communication, architecture, film and art.
The book was perfectly named as “PRADA,”conceived and edited by Miuccia Prada and Patrizio Bertelli in collaboration with designers Michael Rock and Sung Joong Kim of New York City design firm 2×4. Leave a Comment The Gucci Spring/Summer 2010 was something we expect too much each season. The new collection that has been showcased in the Milan lately is far different from the recent Gucci disco-hippie style.
The designer, Frida Giannini presented a clinging multi-strapped dress to start the show that tuned the audience onto the wave of glamor and smart.
The innovative streak of the designer gave the show a new twist. The white part collection of the show was really awesome and looked impressive. These collections includes jackets and high-waisted stretch leggings, inset with sections of sports mesh and lashed through the torso and outside leg with crisscross lacing of rubber piping, bristling with silver hardware; motocross and minimized parachute jackets and crocodile bikers and very feminine mini dresses.
After the white show, it was followed by grey and metallic palette in tight-fitting pants, unusual skirt suits, and perfect reptile leather jackets. These outfits were much common to what we were used to see in Gucci collection through the years.
I have to applaud F. Giannini for creating a collection that is purely for one type of woman and not the masses, a risk during economic recession.
